When you are involved in an event to raise awareness for a cause there are usually ribbons that represent the event meaning. Participants, volunteers, and supporters may wear colored awareness ribbons creating harmony and unity towards the event cause(s) which helps raise awareness for these issues.

Awareness ribbons originate from medieval times where female audiences would give a jousting knight a ribbon representing their affection or support. Currently, awareness ribbons vary in all types including different sizes and colors and symbolize support for numerous events or social causes. Every ribbon color has a distinctive connotation, and our ribbons are purple and green. The following information provides more information about these two colors.
