Robert McClure Food Pantry
RobertMcClureFood Pantry provides outreach and community outreach to assist those that require a bit more help. They selflessly work to ensure that people arriving for the food pantry are provided resources for food, counselling, self help and provide a valuable and much needed resource. The food pantry operates every Thursday and is run completely by volunteers who give of there time to assist in providing the food and services needed. This organization gives unconditonally and cares for those needing the extra help without any requirements than to show up and sign in. We are proud to have them as one of our donees for non-perishable food items and cash donations. All help is greatly needed and appreciated. The below information is directly from their website link:
Our Food Pantry is open on Thursdays from 12 until 2pm only
Food is available for anyone who needs this resource.
You do not need to apply or prove that you need food, just show up and sign in!
We do not require referrals or appointments and we do not screen participants.
We do ask:
Only one person per family line-up in the designated line for food.
If possible, do not bring children to the Food Pantry.
Please bring your own bags.
If you are unwell, please stay home. We work with a vulnerable group of people and we want everyone to stay healthy and well.
The Food Pantry at Robert McClure United Church is located at 5510 – 26th Avenue NE (next door to Lester B. Pearson High School and across the street from Village Square Leisure Centre).
